At Warren House, we use digital x-ray technology to take excellent quality images quickly. These images can be saved to your pet’s record and shared with other veterinary professionals if needed.
Some of our branches can also offer analogue dental-specific x-ray imaging to assess dental health below the gumline. Please speak to a member of the team for more information on this service.
A non-invasive method of imaging, ultrasound uses ultrasound waves to create an image of your pet’s internal organs, allowing us to assess them for any abnormalities or, in some cases, pregnancy.
In most cases, an ultrasound scan can be performed consciously with the patient lying on their side. In some cases, we may need to perform an ultrasound under sedation or anaesthesia to gain the best possible images or obtain samples.
