I have been working at WHVG for the last ten years and I am based at The Lordswood Surgery. I am originally from Cyprus but have lived and worked in the UK since 2001. I always wanted to be a vet and still enjoy my job every single day. I have two elderly ginger cats of my own that I rescued after they were involved in a bad accident resulting in one of them losing a leg. We also added 2 guinea pigs to our family last year. If I get any spare time I enjoy oil painting.

We are delighted to announce that we have a new, full time, permanent Vet called Magda who is joining the team at the High Halstow Surgery from Monday 3rd June 2019! Magda achieved her Veterinary Surgeon qualification in 2005 has been working in Kent for over 12 years. In recent years has been based around the Meopham area but has now agreed to join us in the Medway towns. She will be very pleased to meet you and your pets so please do come along and help us in making her feel welcome in High Halstow.

I qualified from the University of Ghent, Belgium, in 2005. Shortly after, I moved to the Republic of Ireland where I worked in a large animal practice. After experiencing the farm world for over a year, I moved to the UK in 2007 to work with small animals which I’ve done ever since.
During my career, I have managed to achieve a post graduate GP certificate in Veterinary Dermatology. In addition to dermatology I have a special interest in acupuncture for cats, dogs and rabbits.
At home I have two lovely farm/rescue cats, Luna and Willow, who rule the house.
In my spare time, I enjoy taking long walks, family time and cooking.

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1992 and I am also an Advanced Practitioner in dermatology and small animal medicine.  I have worked in small animal practice for over 25 years in various practices in the South of England and have been working in Kent since 2000.  I enjoy dealing with complex skin diseases and feline cases and I am available on Tuesdays at The Lordswood Surgery for appointments.

Simon qualified from Bristol University in 2005 and has been with the Warren House Group for over 18 months. He is originally from Kent, and moved back in 2015 after some extended world travels throughout Asia, the Middle East and South Pacific. His areas of interest are behavioural medicine, ultrasound and imaging and often performs fine soft tissue surgical procedures such as thyroidectomies, eyelid and bladder surgeries. He also helps to run the weekly Cats Protection charity vet visits alongside Ruth at The Lordswood Surgery. Outside of work, he is a keen portrait photographer and enjoys running, keeping fit and escaping up to London for the occasional gig, exhibition or event.

I have lived in Kent all my life, growing up in Herne Bay. As a family
we always had pets, rabbits, gerbils, dogs and guinea pigs. I qualified
at the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2005, then worked in my local
small animal practice for the first 7 years of my career during which
time I also had my daughter. This lead me onto a path of working nights
in a dedicated emergency and critical care service for the next 7 years.
I have a very keen interest in Emergency medicine and surgery and the
critical care patient. I am very excited to join the Warren House
Veterinary Group in the venture to provide a high standard 24 hour
service for the clients and their pets.

Outside of work I enjoy my time with my daughter, horses, sheep, and
dogs.

Group Practice Manager & RVN

Hi, I’m the Group Practice Manager at the Warren House Group and as well as a Qualified Veterinary Nurse. I am responsible for the day to day running of our 4 branches, managing the nurse and reception teams, and when needed I also provide nurse cover within the group. I have been employed within small animal Veterinary practices since 1994 and I returned to Warren House to take up a management role in December 2015. As with most of our staff I have had plenty of pets who have been acquired through working in practice – I currently own a three legged dog called Tryke, three cats and five guinea pigs! I feel very lucky to be working with such a friendly group of colleagues and I look forward to meeting you and your pets at one of our branches very soon!

I have enjoyed every minute of it, working with a fantastic team of vets, nurses, and receptionists. In 2012 a stray jack Russell cross puppy was brought into the surgery and came home with me for the night as a foster. Now his name is Calico Jack and has lived with me ever since!

I enjoy all aspects of my work but particularly like laboratory work and exotics and completed my Veterinary Nursing certificate in Exotics in 2014. At weekends I enjoy spending time with my family and going on walks with our dog.

My name is Emma and I am a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse. I have been working within the Warren House group since 2009 and have been qualified since 2003. I have spent time working at both an out of hours emergency service and at a Referral centre to gain further specialist knowledge. Hello I’m Victoria, and I first started working at the Warren House Veterinary group in November 2017 after having been in the veterinary industry for 4 years. I work across all the four branches, both on reception and nursing, and thoroughly enjoy both aspects of my job. I studied Level 3 Animal Management when I left school, as my dream has always been to become a qualified nurse, and I came here to pursue that career further. Outside of work I love to take my dog Ellie for walks, and make sure my two cats, Jasper and Monty aren’t getting into any trouble. My name is Julia Kearney and I have been with the practice since it opened in November 1982. Currently I am the Practice Manager, but over the years have covered all aspects of the work involved and meet lots of lovely clients and their pets. I have 3 dogs, a patterdale terrier who is 15 years old, a working sheepdog who is 5.5 years old and a rescue border collie who is nearly 2 years. We are away most weekends competing at either agility or flyball.
